video self modeling for Bell's palsy

Video self modeling is technique in which viewer observes his own videotape to relearn the movement or behaviour. this technique have been very popular for treating children with autism. recently its use to treat patients with long term facial nerve palsy have been identified. I have used this technique to treat my patients with Bell's palsy. Patients were provided with their own videotape which were containing their facial movements. Patients were told to view this videotape 3 times a day and imitate all facial movements. their facial function was measured using sunnybrook facial grading system.
