Thank U Prachi for the link. PT's are getting to know what is the situation around, though sad that many of them have to go through it to understand it and then try to make a change. Being a passive partner is much easy, we should be able to motivate ourselves to be an active partner in making a change. We did have quite few members here who really had been trying to make things like this happen, i'm sorry i forgot names..Javed , and..i forgot.
There are people who have made or atleast tried to make a difference in one way or the other and i hope we all will motivate ourselves to be so.

thats true sir.. we all individually need to educate and inform people about the potentials of physiotherapy. Thats why i ve mailed the link to many of my non-physio friends and relatives too.. The fact is people dont believe it when i say that we not only rehabilitate patients but can also diagnose and treat many problems (mainly orthopaedic conditions) , (also forward the patient to concerned physician in case its some serious problem). i think 90% People need written/published proofs from higher authorities. rest 10% believe it verbally as they have themselves experienced physiotherapy. Please let me know if i can contribute in any other way for the betterment of our profession.
