Thanx Ajin, i thought otherwise..i thought moderate resisted exercise reduced blood glucose level more than aerobic exercise.

well robin. although there are a few limitations to the review.. it shows us the importance of relying on evidence based practice to give maximum benefits.

yeah i did understand while goin thru it. Evidence based practice is a great way to maximise benefits, reduce the time, money and energy spent for rehabilitation, aswell as reduce patient suffering. But then completely relying on EB Practice for treatment approaches is not somethin i would favour, it reduces the scope for innovation in one's approach and ability to think out of the box.

i guess EBP just gives you a guidelines to make your innovation much better.
clinical experience is also very important but like i have added in the slides..it has a very small amount of value in relation to evidence.
adding both of them will be the best approach.

That's right, we need to use it adding to what we have, rather than relying it on completely. i have come across many PT's who just had been goin over the moon sayin about Evidence Based Practice. They just needed nothin else to practice. I feel that is self destructive, career wise. EBP gives a lot, we need to use it to further our knowledge in practicing PT, and not to replace one's practice as such.
