Hi Hardik.. hope u have contact with some of IAP life members from your district. At least 30 should be present on the formation day. A convenient date should be selected and this must be at intimated at least one month before to the IAP. you can send a request to your state branch [if you have one] and copies to the secretary [Dr Desikamani PT] IAP [central] and to Dr Senthil Kumar's chennai office address [pls have a look at IAP Dec 2006 newsletter] They will send state reps [ if u have a state body] or else from the centre for the formation day. Let them know the venue, date and time. As per IAP constitution , life members from th district who doesnt have membership in any other local bodies can participate in the event. Like wise, those PTs who hail from other district and who work in your district can also be a member provided they dont have a membership in their home district. mail to Dr Desikamani PT if you wish to have a branch. he will send you the requirements the very next day. Make it soon as it is heard that from next year the minimum no. of participants for a local body is raised to 100.
