congrats for the new step....

i guess approaching docs has to be very diplomatic in nature...cos many will be expecting a percentage of their references i guess... the best marketing is by word of mouth if it near your area of stay.....happy patients give happy references.

Good luck Shabnam!
I woudl suggest u have a brochure ready, pamphlets along with newspapers, an advertisment on hte local medical journal which has hte maximal reach among the Dr's.
Seein Dr for referals doesnt sound good. i feel u shoudl go ahead and provide results with u'r patients more since u already does have patients with Dr whom u r associated with.
If u'r speciality is women's health itself i guess u;r advertisements shoudl anounce certain specific treatment u can provide for those particular target group in a big way such that patients feel that u have something new to offer for those nagging problems related to preg which most of them have.
U'rself and the clinic shoudl relfect what u advertise. A neat and trendy clinic shoudl garner more attention than a regular one. Stack up lot of informative posters on hte walls.
Also device a small plan benefitting the customers such that it makes htem regular for the treatment also that makes them feel there is somthing new around with U such they they themselves might be good advertisers.
I hope more sugestions will come up here for u Shabnam.

Goodluck with the venture Shabnam,

Most things already said by Ajin and Robin. "Happy patients give happy referrals". Here's just a few cents from me.

Don't under estimate internet/socialmedia marketting, which could be freely availed (Ofcourse you'll have to pay your internet bills smile.png ).

Other things
  • Never take down the need for a good Logo (I can be of help if needed)
  • Keep yourself aware of the legal and ethical aspects/issues of practice.
  • Know your competitors - atleast their cost & strengths.

Try to get a grab of the book Marketing Techniques for Physical Therapists  ~ Kathryn Schaefer PT, MPA if you want.
